Hold a raffle
Everyone loves a surprise as well as winning a prize. Hand out raffle tickets to each one who comes to the party. All throughout the party, pick a new winner and hand out their prize. A lot of small prizes increases the party-goer’s chance of winning along with everyone’s anticipation throughout.
Keep it warm and casual
Start with a potluck sign-up sheet. This way not everyone is bringing the same dessert or dish. Make it a ‘theme’ party with appetizers, potluck dishes, desserts and drinks to match. Set up and tables and different things to see and do throughout the room. Encourage your guests to bring their favorite games and have different, easy games set around the room to spark mingling.
